The Celtic Dream Garden is designed and operated by Bryce and Jennifer Weylie. It is located at the Weylie farm in Vinemount (Stoney Creek) where Bryce has worked since he was a young boy.
Originally my father and I ran a farm of fresh fruits, grains and a few animals. The garden opened to the public in 1997. Subsequently, my passion “branched” out to crafting sculptural garden accents, utilizing the iron wood and willow growing on the farm. I have created numerous trellises, arbours, globes, castles and furniture for placement within the garden and for sale. In addition, I have designed toadstools and troughs out of hypertufa. The gardens are quite unique because of the incorporation of standing stones, architectural elements, and uncommon plants. They all contribute to a fantastical and mystical environment. Sadly, our Irish Wolf Hound Rohan has passed away. He was an interesting feature of the gardens himself, as he roamed the grounds. Perhaps another Wolf Hound will appear in the near future. The dogs have been a favorite of ours since Gandalf, our first Wolf Hound of many years ago. Photography and wine making are also extremely important passions for me.
